Sayyid Al-Hakeem Discusses Iraq’s, Region’s Political Scene Developments
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, received the United Nations Secretary-General’s Representative in Iraq, His Excellency Mr. Mohammed Al-Hassani, and discussed the political developments in Iraq and the region, as well as the UN’s role in supporting the country.
His Eminence reiterated Iraq’s political, social, security, and economic stability has been achieved through the sacrifices of its people, with the support of its allies. H.E. emphasized the shared responsibility to safeguard this stability and work towards making it lasting.
H.E. stressed the importance of supporting the government in its service and development efforts, highlighting Iraq’s significant progress in enhancing public services and launching new projects.
Furthermore, H.E. called for unity, national cohesion, and continued solidarity, affirming that the State Administration Coalition embodies these principles. Additionally, H.E. emphasized the need to maintain security and military preparedness to confront emerging challenges.
