Sayyid Al-Hakeem Receives National Security Strategy Parliamentary Preparing Team, Stresses Security Readiness, Armament Diversification
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, met with several esteemed members of parliament from the team preparing the National Security Strategy, led by Mr. Jawad Al-Bulani. His Eminence exchanged views on the developments in the country's political landscape, the role of the Parliament in enhancing stability and complementing the executive branch to provide the best for citizens, and the outlines of the National Security Strategy.
His Eminence praised the Parliament’s move to amend the budget law in a way that enhances the country's revenues and achieves social justice, and H.E. stressed the importance of enacting laws and amending those that require changes, especially laws that directly affect citizens.
H.E. renewed our call to address the region's challenges based on the principle of "neither underestimating nor exaggerating," and H.E. underscored the importance of enhancing and maintaining security and military readiness. We also affirmed the need to equip security agencies with modern equipment while diversifying their sources of armaments.
