Sayyid Al-Hakeem Receives Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Affirms Baghdad-Moscow Ties Depth
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, met in his office with Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister and Presidential Envoy, Mr. Mikhail Bogdanov, along with his accompanying delegation. His Eminence reaffirmed the strong ties between Baghdad and Moscow and stressed the importance of enhancing them to serve the mutual interests of both nations and their friendly peoples.
H.E. affirmed that this relationship is a source of pride and appreciation for Iraq, aligning with its commitment to balanced international relations. H.E. also pointed out Iraq’s steady progress and its significant strides in political, social, security, and economic fields.
H.E. reiterated our appreciation for the Iraqi government's approach to regional developments, avoiding entanglement while maintaining stability. H.E. also affirmed Iraq’s ability to confront challenges through its internal cohesion and unity. Additionally, H.E. emphasized the value of drawing from international experiences and expanding foreign investment in Iraq.
