Sayyid Al-Hakeem Calls for Baghdad Provincial Council Unity to Ensure Mission Success to Provide Services to Baghdad’s citizens.
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, hosted the Baghdad Provincial Council this evening, led by Mr. Ammar Al-Hamdani, the newly elected Council President. During the meeting, Sayyid Al-Hakeem congratulated Al-Hamdani on the trust placed in him by the council members and called for the cooperation of all parties, stressing the importance of inclusivity to ensure the success of the council’s mission in delivering services to Baghdad's citizens.
H.E. emphasized the need for collaborative efforts between the Provincial Council, the Governor, the Baghdad Municipality, and other state institutions, affirming that services are a top priority for both the citizens and the government. H.E. warned against political rivalry and disputes, highlighting their negative impact on governmental operations and the structure of Iraq’s federal system.
Additionally, Sayyid Al-Hakeem stressed the importance of addressing the needs of rural areas and villages, and ensuring alignment between strategic projects and immediate service-based initiatives, as this fosters trust between citizens and government institutions.
