    Sayyid Al-Hakeem Commends Iraqi Tribes' Role, Stresses Security and Political Achievements Preservation Importance

    From Al-Refai District in Dhi Qar Province, and at the guesthouse of Sheikh Arkan Khairallah Al-Shuwaili, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, met with a gathering of tribal sheikhs and dignitaries.
    During the meeting, H.E. reflected on the long-standing history shared with the tribes of Al-Refai in defending the homeland and its principles, emphasizing the pivotal role Iraqi tribes play in nation-building and strengthening national unity.
    H.E. highlighted the major security challenges Iraq has faced, including the influx of terrorists from all directions, sectarian clashes, political conflicts, and media-fueled divisions. H.E. also addressed a past period of political estrangement and the absence of dialogue among political leaders, which hindered efforts toward stability.
    Affirming the significant progress achieved, H.E. noted that regular meetings among political leaders have become routine rather than exceptional, reflecting a more stable political climate. H.E. also praised the notable advancements in security and social cohesion, urging all parties to protect these achievements and take responsibility for sustaining them.
    Sayyid Al-Hakeem reiterated his call for reinforcing national unity, H.E. emphasized the invaluable role of Iraqi tribes in shaping a strong and cohesive society, affirming that Iraq can overcome its challenges through the determination and cooperation of its people.
    This visit is part of H.E.’s broader tour in Dhi Qar, aimed at strengthening engagement with Iraq’s diverse social components and addressing their concerns to further enhance stability and development in the country.
