Sayyid Al-Hakeem Praises Nineveh Coexistence, Emphasizes National Unity, Safeguarding Achievements

During a visit to the Nineveh Plains, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, met with a large gathering of the Shabak community, expressing his joy at the visit and recalling the historical ties between the alliance and the people of the region. His Eminence also congratulated the attendees on the birth anniversary of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him), highlighting his esteemed position in Islamic history and quoting the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), who described him as “I’m with the truth, and truth is with Ali” making him a guiding compass for righteousness.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem commended the Shabak community for their loyalty to the Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and praised the region’s societal harmony, as well as its progress in security and economic stability. H.E. emphasized that these achievements were made possible through the great sacrifices of the people of the Nineveh Plains, who endured bloodshed, pain, and hardship.
In his speech, Sayyid Al-Hakeem stressed the need to preserve these accomplishments and use them as motivation for further progress. H.E. called for abandoning selfishness, affirming that all achievements are blessings from Allah. He also warned against complacency and regression, emphasizing that relying on Allah and addressing challenges with intelligence and vigilance—without exaggeration or underestimation—are key to moving forward.
H.E. reminded the audience of the significant progress made despite immense challenges, noting that hardships often present great opportunities and that Allah has promised ease after difficulty. H.E. urged prioritizing national interests, upholding unity, and standing together against any threats to Iraq’s security and stability.
Concluding his remarks, Sayyid Al-Hakeem cautioned against statements that could incite division among Iraqis and emphasized the importance of prioritizing the greater good over individual interests. H.E. underscored the necessity of transforming the current stability into lasting security that restores Iraq’s rightful position in the region and the world. Expressing optimism about Iraq’s future, H.E. affirmed that the prevailing calm and stability pave the way for a brighter tomorrow.
