Sayyid Al-Hakeem Highlights Sulaymaniyah’s Role to Strengthen Federal, Regional Governments Ties
On the third day of his visit to Sulaymaniyah, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, met with the Governor, Mr. Haval Abu Bakr, his deputies, administrative unit heads, and directors of service departments in the province.
During the meeting, His Eminence underscored the significance of Sulaymaniyah and the diversity it embraces, noting its strategic geographic position as a vital asset in bridging relations between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG).
H.E. also emphasized the importance of fostering internal dialogue within the region and urged the swift formation of a government in the KRG, commending the success of the recent elections in Kurdistan.
H.E. further highlighted the need to seek solutions that ensure social justice and enhance public services, stressing that these efforts form the foundation for achieving development and prosperity.
H.E. concluded that Iraq continues progressing, albeit below expectations, reaffirming the National State Powers Alliance's support for the Kurdistan Region and its people in various fields.
