Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Al-Hikma Project Key Traits "Moderation and Centrism," Essential to Preserve Iraq and its People
At the first gathering of youth leaders, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, emphasized the importance of understanding the project, its history, symbols, and pivotal moments in Iraq's history, starting from the pre-establishment phase of the Iraqi state. H.E. outlined the nature of Imam Sayyid Al-Hakeem's (may Allah sanctify his soul) leadership, his active presence in both the field and social spheres, and highlighted the influence of Imam Al-Hakeem's libraries on Iraqi and Islamic culture, as well as his support for the Palestinian cause. H.E. also noted Imam Al-Hakeem's stance against the unjust conflict with the Kurds in the 1960s. Furthermore, H.E. pointed out that Shaheed Al-Mihrab (may Allah sanctify his soul) was a humble field leader who engaged with the public, answering questions and fostering interaction.
H.E. stated that the key traits of Al-Hikma Project are moderation and Centrism, which H.E. described as holding the middle ground. This approach is essential for safeguarding Iraq and its people. H.E. highlighted that Al-Hikma Project has faced smear campaigns and accusations of betrayal due to its balanced and moderate stance. H.E. cited the "Our Steadfast Anbar" initiative, introduced at a time of high tension, noting that its purpose was to protect Iraq from dangerous pitfalls. Had the initiative been adopted at that time, it would have spared Iraq many crises and challenges.
H.E. emphasized, "Our work should pave the way for the appearance of the Imam of the Age and Time (may Allah hasten his reappearance), with Iraq being the center of global reform and the capital of the great reformer." He stressed the necessity of relying on Allah, seeking His approval in all actions, and requesting His guidance. Moreover, H.E. asserted that work must be conducted with a national spirit because the project is national. H.E. clarified that nationalism does not mean abandoning personal identities but embracing them within the national project. H.E. also called for developing moral immunity to shield the youth from deviations and the influence of foreign ideas.
H.E. reaffirmed the importance of empowering the youth and believing in their capabilities. H.E. explained that the emergence of the National State Powers’ Alliance takes into account the significance of the youth and their impact on Iraqi society, with youth constituting the majority within the alliance. H.E. urged the promotion of the Wisdom Project and the inclusion of others in it, noting that building the state is crucial to safeguarding everyone's interests, as it holds the key to their protection. H.E. added that the latest guidance from the religious authority represents a roadmap for state-building.
Finally, H.E. clarified that the Israeli entity did not succeed in its recent war because it failed to achieve its declared goals. As a result, Israel's failure in Lebanon and Gaza prompted them to extend their influence into Syria.
