Sayyid Al-Hakeem Praises Iraq’s Support for Palestinian, Lebanese Peoples

During his visit to Al-Zubaydiya district in Wasit Province, at the house of Mr. Ali Hussein Suleimoon Al-Shammari, the Chairman of the Wasit Provincial Council, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with a group of Sheikhs and dignitaries from the Shammar tribe and other noble tribes. His Eminence spoke about the strong ties that have connected him and his family with this honorable tribe, beginning with the late Ayatollah Sayyid Mohammed Sadiq Al-Hakeem, and continuing with Shaheed Al-Muharrab and Aziz Al-Iraq (may Allah sanctify their secrets). H.E. explained that these relationships have contributed to the cohesion of society.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem stated that the israeli entity failed to achieve its objectives and that Hezbollah’s resistance in Lebanon had secured a victory in its confrontation with israel. H.E. highlighted that surveys within Israel indicate its recognition of having lost the battle with Hezbollah. H.E. pointed out the sight of displaced people returning to southern Lebanon, a stark contrast to the lack of similar scenes on the other side.
H.E. commended Iraq's stance, both officially and publicly, as well as the position of the highest religious authority, which supported the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples. H.E. noted that Iraq provided support to both peoples without directly engaging in the confrontation.
H.E. urged a focus on the achievements that have been realized, affirming that Iraq is now heading in the right direction. H.E. emphasized that the interest of all lies in stability, order, the rule of law, and the strength and authority of the state, making nation-building a priority in the current phase.
