Sayyid Al-Hakeem Calls to End Gaza War to Foster Greater Regional Stability
In a press conference held after His Eminence met with the local government in Wasit, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, explained that his visit aimed to assess the province’s current state, achievements, and challenges. H.E. noted that this visit is part of his ongoing tours to the provinces to stay informed about their conditions. H.E. expressed happiness that his visit coincided with the ceasefire in Lebanon, describing it as a significant step toward regional stability with positive implications for Iraq.
H.E. praised the resilience of the Lebanese people and their resistance, which compelled the Israeli entity to accept the ceasefire. H.E. called for an end to the war in Gaza to pave the way for greater stability in the region. Additionally, H.E. commended the level of planning and the projects completed or scheduled for implementation in Wasit in the near future.
