Sayyid Al-Hakeem Praises Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf Teaching Hospital Status
During a visit to Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf Teaching Hospital, accompanied by the Director of Health in Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf, His Eminence Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, toured the facility, visiting patients and meeting with the hospital's medical staff, including doctors, nurses, and administrative personnel. H.E. expressed his admiration for the hospital's efforts and expressed satisfaction with its administrative operations, highlighting the integration of external expertise in managing the hospital.
His Eminence called on the Italian company managing the hospital to successfully implement this model and expand it to other hospitals across the region. H.E. noted that while technical expertise is present, it is essential to have supporting administrative systems in place to ensure effective healthcare delivery. H.E. emphasized that medical services are a critical part of the daily needs of citizens and discussed the significance of collaborating with foreign companies for management, stressing the importance of raising standards and aligning Iraq’s hospitals with those of neighboring countries and globally.
His Eminence expressed his hope that the healthcare sector in Iraq would continue to develop and improve its services, praising the healthcare system in Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf for setting a standard that has made it a model for other provinces.
