Sayyid Al-Hakeem Calls for Continued Solidarity with Palestinian, Lebanese People
The Sisawa Tribes were one of the key stops during Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem’s visit to the Kurdistan Region. At the guesthouse of Sheikh Mudhaffar Aziz Al-Sisawa, His Eminence recalled the shared history with them, from pivotal moments in the 1920 Revolution to the various turning points leading to the fall of the dictatorship and the building of the new Iraq.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem stressed the importance of preserving Iraq’s diversity and building the country through the participation of all its components. H.E. also praised the high voter turnout in the recent elections and emphasized that any step toward stability in any part of Iraq contributes to the overall stability of the entire country. H.E. reiterated his call for continued solidarity with the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples and the ongoing government and grassroots relief efforts.
