Sayyid Al-Hakeem Calls to Revitalize Productive Sectors, Focus on Agriculture, Support Farmers
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, met with leaders and members of the alliance's bloc in local governments, with the governors of Dhi Qar and Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf in attendance. H.E. reviewed the service conditions in the central and southern governorates, emphasizing the importance of field presence, direct engagement with the public, delivering essential services, and advancing strategic projects that impact citizens’ daily lives.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem affirmed that local governments are a constitutional and legal reality and are essential to the federal democratic system. H.E. renewed his call for granting them their constitutional powers, stressing the need for coordinated efforts among governors, provincial councils, and federal ministries.
H.E. underscored the importance of reducing bureaucracy, engaging with tribal leaders and academic institutions, reinforcing state authority, and ensuring the judiciary is a refuge for anyone seeking justice. H.E. also reiterated the call to establish coordination frameworks in all governorates and highlighted the importance of maintaining current stability, which begins with reliable services and restoring citizens' trust.
H.E. further called for the activation of productive sectors, increased attention to agriculture, support for farmers, and the creation of a work environment capable of attracting investment and creating job opportunities.
