Sayyid Al-Hakeem Discuses Iraqi and Regional Political Updates with Advisory Board

At the meeting of the Advisory Board of Al-Hikma National Movement, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, extended his condolences to the attendees on the anniversary of Lady Fatimah Al-Zahra’s (peace be upon her) martyrdom and the assassination of the honorable martyr Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah and a group of believers (may Allah have mercy on them).
His Eminence also discussed the political landscape in Iraq and the region with the board members. H.E. reviewed the events of October 7, explaining that israel failed to achieve any of its declared goals in Gaza, leaving behind only destruction from its military actions.
H.E. highlighted how the October 7 events dismantled Israel’s victimhood narrative, shattering its image on the global stage. H.E. underscored that history often shows the strength and eventual triumph of the righteous, even when they are outnumbered and less equipped, and that leadership and movements persist despite the martyrdom of key figures.
H.E. reaffirmed Iraq’s steadfast support for the Palestinian and Lebanese causes, particularly in the political, media, and humanitarian sectors, and praised the efforts that led to the conclusion of the international coalition’s mission against ISIS, transitioning to bilateral relations with certain member states.
H.E. emphasized the importance of staying connected with the public, working to meet their needs with available resources, continuing service provision, and maintaining social engagement with intellectuals, professionals, tribal leaders, and community figures.
