Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Iraq Plays Significant Role in Bridging Regional Divides
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, met with a delegation from the Al-Sharq Center for Strategic Studies and Information. During the meeting, the vital role of research centers in the country's development was highlighted, and how it provides decision-makers with essential studies and information that enable an accurate understanding of the reality, thereby contributing to the nation’s progress.
H.E. discussed the nature of the changes within Iraq that have led to the current stability, noting that regional stability is closely tied to the stability of individual countries. H.E. pointed out Iraq’s significant role in mediating and bridging gaps between the region's conflicting parties. H.E. also reaffirmed Iraq’s policy of openness to all, which aims to strengthen mutual interests while safeguarding its sovereignty.
H.E. reiterated his condemnation of the criminal act committed by Israeli occupation forces this morning in Gaza, stressing the urgent need to stop the war. H.E. stated that the world has a responsibility to halt the violence, holding the international community and institutions accountable for their silence in the face of daily massacres against children, women, and the defenseless.
