Sayyid Al-Hakeem Calls to Implement Women’s Conference Outcomes, to Distinguish Between Legislative and Executive Duties
Following the Islamic Day Conference for Combating Violence Against Women, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, met with several representatives of Iraq's diverse communities. His Eminence praised the role of women in Iraqi society and their determination to secure their legal and religious rights.
H.E. emphasized the importance of following up on the outcomes and recommendations of women-related conferences, urging that these be clearly categorized into legislative and executive responsibilities. H.E. also called for granting legal rights and compensation to the survivors of ISIS for the violations they endured and stressed the need to create a supportive social environment for the return of displaced persons, aiming to bring an end to the displacement issue altogether.
