Sayyid Al-Hakeem commends resistance to israeli attempts to depopulate Gaza
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, received Mr. Nabeel Abu Rudeineh, the official spokesperson of the Palestinian presidency, and the Palestinian Ambassador to Baghdad, Ahmed Al-Ruweidi.
Mr. Abu Rudeineh conveyed the greetings and appreciation of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) for His Eminence's steadfast support for the Palestinian cause.
His Eminence reiterated his unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and strongly condemned the ongoing Israeli crimes against the people in Gaza and the West Bank. H.E. called for an immediate halt to the systematic killings carried out by the israeli war machine, which blatantly disregards human rights laws.
H.E. emphasized that the Palestinian issue is a constant topic in all his meetings and that both the Iraqi government and the people continue to support Palestine in various ways, particularly through aid. H.E. praised the Arab stances that have resisted displacement plans and attempts to undermine the Palestinian cause, affirming the historical rights of Palestinians to their land.
H.E. expressed his rejection of the double standards exhibited by the international community, which supports the continuation of the war in Gaza by supplying arms to the occupation forces while ignoring the tens of thousands of martyrs who have fallen victim to ongoing Israeli crimes. H.E. affirmed his support for all initiatives within international organizations aimed at stopping the war and holding the perpetrators of genocide in Gaza accountable.
