Sayyid Al-Hakeem expresses hope that Al-Muadara bloc will help bridge gaps among Sunni powers
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, received a delegation from Al-Mubadara Bloc led by Mr. Ziad Al-Janabi. His Eminence was briefed on the formation of the bloc and expressed his hope that it would serve as a liaison and a meeting ground for the various parliamentary blocs, fostering trust and narrowing differences.
H.E. emphasized the importance of selecting a new Speaker for the Iraqi Council of Representatives, noting that the distribution of the three presidencies was intended to reassure the various communities and involve them in the political decision-making process. H.E. stressed the need to empower a competent individual who possesses good administrative skills and believes in Iraq's political system.
H.E. also discussed the achievements of the political agreement document, stating that "achieving stability is key to resolving outstanding issues. The more we reinforce stability, the closer we get to addressing these issues."
H.E. pointed out that the current political, social, and security stability was achieved through the sacrifices of the Iraqi people from all communities. H.E. emphasized that everyone bears the responsibility of turning this stability into a permanent state to enable Iraq to sustain its reconstruction and development efforts.
H.E. reiterated his support for both the federal and local governments in completing service projects, highlighting the importance of utilizing financial surpluses to support infrastructure projects that directly impact citizens.
