Sayyid Al-Hakeem Meets Kurdish Researchers and Academics, Emphasizes Iraqi People Unity
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with several Kurdish intellectuals, including academics and research center leaders. His Eminence praised their role in addressing societal, economic, and political issues and urged them to maintain communication and take initiative on various matters.
H.E. emphasized the unity of the Iraqi people, noting that Iraqis form a nation with significant diversity. This diversity, he said, should be managed and harnessed to build bridges with neighboring countries and the world, serving the country's interests. H.E. stressed the importance of spreading positivity and optimism and informing people about the achievements made. H.E. also highlighted the need to educate current and future generations about the negative aspects and crimes of the Saddam Hussein regime, including the violence, oppression, and misuse of resources suffered by the Iraqi people.
H.E. also underscored the importance of maintaining dialogue between Baghdad and Erbil. H.E. believed that meetings and discussions conducted under the framework of the constitution and existing laws are crucial for resolving outstanding issues. H.E. expressed optimism about moving forward with the project to standardize salaries for employees in the Kurdistan Region, aligning them with other Iraqi government employees.
