Sayyid Al-Hakeem lauds Russia’s position supporting regional issues
This morning, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with His Excellency Mr. Elbrus Kutrashev, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Iraq. The discussion covered recent political developments in Iraq and the region and ways to strengthen bilateral relations between Baghdad and Moscow to benefit both countries and their peoples.
His Eminence illustrated the significance of the current stability in Iraq and its positive effects on regional security and stability, highlighting the importance of transforming it into permanent stability. H.E. lauded the Russian Federation's supportive stance on regional issues.
Additionally, Sayyid Al-Hakeem underscored the urgent need to halt the war in Gaza, enforce international law, and adhere to Security Council resolutions to stop the conflict, provide aid to the displaced, and rebuild the city.
