Sayyid Al-Hakeem: the generations that experienced the dictatorship have a responsibility to educate the new generations about that era and its difficulties

On the second day of His Eminence’s visit to the beloved Al-Muthanna province, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with a group of sheiks and dignitaries from Al-Barakat tribe and neighboring clans at the residence of Sheikh Faisal Al-Salman Al-Burki in Al-Karama district. H.E. said in his conversation with them, "We engage with our people in the provinces and our honorable Iraqi tribes to understand the reality and contribute as much as possible to supporting and empowering them. These meetings are important milestones for recalling the shared history that unites us with the Iraqi tribes, especially the esteemed Al-Barakat tribe." H.E. emphasized the responsibility of the generations that experienced the dictatorship to educate the new generations about that era, its difficulties, the level of criminality and marginalization experienced by the people, especially the inhabitants of the central and southern regions, the stories of mass graves and torture chambers, and the prevention of loyalists from visiting the Shrine of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, calling for an understanding of the value of the freedom we enjoy today and the necessity of promoting it.
H.E. affirmed that Iraq is facing the challenge of providing services and caring for the cities, districts, and regions of Al-Muthanna to meet the basic needs of citizens, emphasizing that success in this challenge is akin to the success Iraqis achieved in previous challenges, where they achieved miracles.
