Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Al-Muthanna is a cornerstone for Iraq’s stability and future

From the historical richness and the vibrant gatherings of its people, the guest place of Bani Hajim tribes marked the first stop for Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, in the diwans of Al-Muthanna. Hosted by Sheikh Basim Al Meseer Al Muhsin, H.E. met with a gracious and blessed assembly of sheiks and dignitaries from the Bani Hajim tribes and the clans of Al-Muthanna, emphasizing the importance of communication with the provinces and noble tribes. H.E. praised the history of the Bani Hajim tribe and their role in shaping events in Iraq, congratulating them on this illustrious history. H.E. stated that the revolution of the twentieth century was built on the duality of religious authority and Arab tribes, with Islam preserving these two pillars, complemented by the rituals of Hussainiya.
H.E. remarked that Iraq is witnessing widespread reconstruction and development, commending the reality of Muthanna and the scale of its industrial and developmental projects, along with the investment opportunities therein. H.E. appreciated the supportive stance of tribes in promoting industrial and agricultural investment, making Muthanna a cornerstone for stability and the future in Iraq.
H.E. called for spreading hope, optimism, and positivity, warning against a media agenda seeking to demonize everything and highlighting that democracy is suitable for Iraq. H.E. affirmed that the region's view of Iraq is positive, contrasting with Iraqis' view of themselves, and stated that Iraq is on the right path as long as balance and representation of components are preserved, and as long as the people of the provinces are empowered in their regions. H.E. explained that the agreements with Turkey are poised to address the water scarcity issue.
