Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Iraq overcome security, political, and social challenges, returns to its normal state, with security and safety now being the hallmark of Iraqi cities
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with the Secretary-General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Sheikh Dr. Shahriari, and several scholarly figures who are members of the council, H.E. welcomed the attendees to the land of the House of Imam Ali and the Imams of Muslims (peace be upon them). H.E. emphasized that Iraq is pivotal in history and in the reform movement of Imam Mahdi (may Allah hasten his honorable reappearance), wishing the participants success in their visit to Iraq.
H.E. emphasized that the meeting is held under exceptional circumstances, given the ongoing persecution and genocide of our people in Gaza, highlighting the clear falsity of Western claims regarding human rights, women's rights, children's rights, and freedom of expression, as well as the political cover-ups for the Israeli entity.
H.E. praised the supportive stances toward the Palestinian people, noting that the widespread protests in the West and university demonstrations are evidence of genuine sympathy with the legitimate Palestinian cause. H.E. also highlighted the role of social media as a platform for supporting Palestine in terms of sympathy and dealing with the Gaza crisis. H.E. also praised the stance of the Islamic Republic of Iran and its support for the Palestinian people, calling for viewing the crisis in Gaza from the perspective of the Islamic project and its role in defending Palestine. H.E. emphasized that Iraq has always been at the forefront of supporting Palestine, starting with the statement of the highest religious authority, in addition to the stance of the Iraqi government and its president in defending the Palestinian people, as well as the popular, political, and media supportive stance.
H.E. affirmed that Iraq has overcome security, political, and social challenges and has managed to return to its normal state. Today, security and safety have become the hallmark of Iraqi cities, pointing to the return of social harmony and genuine positive coexistence among the components, citing mixed marriages between sects and components.
Politically, H.E. emphasized that the State Administration Coalition represents four-fifths of the parliament and serves as a incubator for the government, noting that these developments coincide with positive regional and international changes towards Iraq, pointing to the path of development and opportunities it offers. Additionally, H.E. highlighted its active role in bridging perspectives among the region's factions.
H.E. also clarified that the relationship with the Islamic Republic of Iran and Arab and Islamic countries is not only governmental but also social, cultural, and religious.
