Sayyid Al-Hakeem emphasizes expanding Iraqi universities representation at International Universities Union
In a meeting with the delegation from the International Union of Universities, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, was briefed extensively on the Union’s operations and responsibilities. H.E. stressed the imperative of broadening the presence of Iraqi universities within the union and fostering cross-disciplinary knowledge exchange, as well as aligning university outputs with workforce demands and enhancing their role in addressing the socio-economic challenges of our nations. Additionally, H.E. highlighted the importance of allocating resources to fields such as science, technology, and artificial intelligence, advocating for their advancement and the training of skilled professionals in these areas.
