From Al-Kifil district in Babylon province, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with a group of Basra residents hosted by our dear brother Sheikh Murtadha Majid Al-Marzouki on 3/5/2024, emphasizing the importance of visits to understand the conditions of Babylon and meet its people. H.E. recalled the history of the relationship and its milestones, which extend to future generations because it embodies the glory of Islam, the homeland, and the people.
H.E. emphasized the preservation of the project of moderation and centrism, explaining that moderation is an Islamic and Quranic approach, where moderation has become a widely accepted and embraced logic by others. H.E. also pointed out the importance of communication with the Iraqi public and tribes, as it represents a sound and healthy approach.
H.E. clarified that Iraq has faced challenges that have left their mark on people's souls, including the challenge of terrorism. However, the fatwa (religious decree) of the highest religious authority has changed the equation in favor of Iraq and the Iraqi people, highlighting the value of religious authority in Iraqi society and its profound positive impact. H.E. called for alleviating oppression and deprivation in the cities of Babylon, expressing his hope in the local government to change the reality and provide services.
