Sayyid Al-Hakeem emphasizes domestic production support, provide ideal environment for investment
During his visit to Babylon Governorate, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with a number of industrialists from the governorate and stressed the necessity of legislating and amending relevant laws, supporting domestic production, controlling border outlets, and regulating the importation of locally produced materials in a way that does not affect domestic products.
H.E. called for reviving stalled factories and restarting production, as well as utilizing recycling, including waste recycling, and urged for workers to undergo training courses to develop skilled labor.
H.E. called for the continuation of industrial exhibitions, highlighting the importance of economic integration among industrialists and providing the necessary industrial environment to revitalize the industrial sector as an important productive sector. H.E. emphasized the importance of addressing the work culture among Iraqi workers and familiarizing them with the necessity of competition and development.
H.E. reiterated the call for creating an investment-friendly environment capable of attracting investments and providing economic partners for investors. H.E. pointed out that Iraq is facing regional and international desire for investment, adding that revitalizing the industrial sector requires providing necessary financial facilitations for industrialists as well as ensuring electricity supply.
