Sayyid Al-Hakeem emphasizes working class, grant their material rights and land plots
On the occasion of Labor Day, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with the Federation of Labor Unions in Babylon on 2/5/2024, and congratulated them on their day. H.E. reiterated Iraq's overcoming of the challenges it has faced and its current focus on construction and development, aided by the Prime Minister's administrative experience. H.E. called for attention to be given to the working class, supporting them, and providing necessary guarantees for their material rights, housing rights, and similar entitlements.
H.E. also called for stipulating in contracts with international companies that Iraqi labor be employed, with the condition of training, development, and qualification. H.E. stressed the importance of quality work, perseverance, fostering competitiveness, and a desire to work.
H.E. emphasized the protection of workers, providing opportunities for a decent life, and granting them land plots to build residential units, thus anchoring them to their homeland and contributing to the revitalization of the economy.
