During his meeting with the American ambassador, Mr. Hakim calls for the success of the Sudanese President's visit to Washington.
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of National State Powers' ALliance, met with the US ambassador to Iraq, Her Excellency Ms. Alina L. Romanowski, and urged to endorse the visit of Mr. Al-Sudani’s visit to Washington, and affirmed the importance of diversifying the axis of the visit, in addition to focusing on the economic, cultural, and educational aspects as well as the political and security files.
H.E. discussed also the bilateral ties between Baghdad and Washington and the methods to develop them to serve the interests of both countries and people and safeguard the status of everyone.
H.E. stressed the importance of conducting the Kurdistan Region’s elections with the presence of all powers and parties to give a positive image of democracy in Iraq. furthermore, we illustrated that the political stability in any arena in Iraq will reflect positively on Iraq in general.
Regarding electing the new Speaker, H.E. stressed concluding the matter by the parties of the genuine Sunni component, and the importance of adopting standards and a method of electing to ease the process. H.E. urged to conduct the session of electing the speaker directly after Eid.
Regarding the developments of the Gaza Strip, H.E. stated the importance of pressuring the israeli entity to implement the resolution of the security council and putting an end to the unjust war on the besieged people of Gaza, as well as providing aid and reconstructing the strip.
