Sayyid Al-Hakeem urges swift enactment of Advocacy Law
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with a delegation from the Bar Association, led by Ms. Ahlam Al-Lami, the Chairperson of the association. During the meeting, His Eminence was briefed on the association's activities, its responsibilities, as well as the challenges faced by lawyers. H.E. commended the vital role played by this profession in safeguarding citizens' rights and advocating for them, calling on the Parliament to accelerate the passing of the Advocacy Law.
H.E. underscored the significance of ensuring fairness for lawyers concerning their inherent entitlements, such as opportunities for employment in government institutions, land allocations, and similar matters.
H.E. emphasized the necessity of fostering collaboration in performance with governmental bodies, the private sector, and other professional associations.
