Sayyid Al-Hakeem calls to redress teachers, calls upon them to confront deviant ideology
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with a delegation representing teachers of Kurdistan, in Sulaymaniyah on 25/2/2024, and heard about the challenges they're facing, and their concerns. H.E. affirmed support for education all across the regions of the country, stressing the noble nature of teaching, which shapes the upbringing and education of forthcoming generations. H.E. advocated for the fair treatment of teachers, urging for the provision of housing and appropriate salaries enabling them to live decently. Furthermore, H.E. emphasized the significance of teachers and educators in countering external ideologies seeking to erode their values, ethics, customs, and traditions.
