    Sayyid Al-Hakeem advocates appointing Parliament Speaker through consensus among esteemed Sunni components or holding elections for their representatives in the Parliament.

    At a gathering in the Diwan of Baghdad, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with Iraqi tribal elders and dignitaries, extending congratulations on the auspicious births of the Imams of the Ahl Al-Bayt “PBUT”, particularly commemorating the birth anniversary of Imam Mahdi, "May Allah hasten his noble reappearance." His Eminence emphasized that the concept of salvation is universally embraced by all divine religions, highlighting Iraq's pivotal role in the movement of Imam Mahdi, and underscoring the imperative of Iraq's stability, security, and prosperity. H.E. urged for a definitive selection of a new Speaker of Parliament to instill confidence among all and urged representatives of the esteemed Sunni component to reach an agreement on a candidate and present them to others, either through consensus or internal elections within the component.
    H.E. reiterated that Iraq has surmounted challenging obstacles through the sacrifices of its people and the steadfastness of Iraqi tribes in response to the call of the Supreme Religious Authority. Pointing to the achieved security, political, and social stability, H.E. noted a subsequent campaign of reconstruction and service provision.
    H.E. stressed the unity of the nation and its components, along with allegiance to Iraq, while advocating for the preservation of social and political diversity. Expressing pride in belonging to the ancient country with a rich history, H.E. asserted that moderation, centrism, and love of the homeland are fundamental principles for safeguarding the nation. Rejecting any characterization that equates moderation with weakness, H.E. called for a commitment to moderation and centrism to propel progress.
    H.E. firmly rejected negative portrayals, asserting that the world holds a positive view of Iraq, having navigated away from perilous circumstances. H.E. emphasized the consensus that Iraq's stability is indispensable for regional stability, marking a significant departure from the notion of inundating Iraq with problems to secure the region.
    He advocated focusing on positives, optimism, and the dissemination of hope while shunning despair to preserve the people, their capabilities, and potential, citing this approach as Quranic.

    H.E. reiterated his opposition to violations and genocide in Gaza as it affected more than one hundred thousand innocent civilians between a martyr and wounded, condemning the destruction wrought by the Israeli entity to end all walks of life and transform the Palestinian cause into a case of a homeless nation H.E. called for the conclusion of the international coalition's mission against ISIS, stating that this stems from the governmental program, calling to end its mission in a friendly manner through dialogue and mutual understanding to safeguard the country's sovereignty. H.E. also called for the cultivation of bilateral relations with countries worldwide in political, economic, and military spheres.
    Sayyid Al-Hakeem underscored the contribution of local elections to consolidating the authority of the Iraqi state and fostering democratic culture, expressing optimism regarding the success of local governments in delivering services and fostering competition among opposing forces, particularly in anticipation of parliamentary elections. H.E. emphasized the importance of financial liquidity in achieving service provision and development.

    H.E. outlined the priorities of the current phase in health, education, service provision, and combating corruption, advocating for the activation of various sectors, including agriculture, industry, tourism, investment, and modern technology. Addressing water scarcity, H.E. attributed it to decreasing water quotas, population growth, global water scarcity due to climate change, and mismanagement of water resources, calling for the utilization of rainfall, riverbank reinforcement, water conservation measures, and modern irrigation methods.
