Sayyid Al-Hakeem meets Tamkeen Youth Organization, stresses youth support, empowerment, skill development
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with the delegation from the youth organization "Tamkeen" (Empowerment) on 18/2/2024, and listened to a detailed explanation of the organization's activities and plans. His Eminence stressed the importance of offering opportunities to young individuals and recognizing the significance of having faith in their abilities, projects, and aspirations. H.E. emphasized the need to delve into the statistics concerning the youth population within Iraqi society, which comprises more than 70%. These high percentages were highlighted as both an opportunity and a challenge, presenting a chance to harness the energy of the youth and protect it from external influences, ultimately transforming it into a productive and influential force.
H.E. urged Iraqi youth to explore opportunities tailored to their age group. Additionally, H.E. underscored the importance of personal development, skill acquisition, and the establishment of their projects. Commending outstanding experiences in supporting and empowering youth, H.E. expressed an unwavering commitment to enabling young people and offering them opportunities for public service. This commitment extends to empowering some of them to take on roles in managing provinces, whether as governors or deputy governors in the establishment of provincial councils.
