Sayyid Al-Hakeem advocates parliamentary oversight activation
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, held a meeting with a delegation from the parliamentary bloc of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, headed by MP Hero Kamal Agha on 29/1/2024. During the meeting, His Eminence listened to their perspectives on the unfolding political landscape and upcoming events. H.E. emphasized the significance of preserving the established stability in political, social, and security realms.
H.E. affirmed the importance of enacting crucial legislation and enhancing the oversight function of the Parliament. Additionally, H.E. reiterated his call for a cessation of hostilities in Gaza, urging for the delivery of aid and relief to the distressed Palestinian people.
