Sayyid Al-Hakeem discusses Islamic Nation Challenges, especially Gaza crisis, with Sheikh Al-Khateeb
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with Sheikh Ali Al-Khateeb, the Deputy Head of the Supreme Islamic Shia Council in Lebanon, alongside the Lebanese Ambassador, Mr. Ali Al-Habhab, and discussed the formidable challenges confronting the Islamic nation, particularly the ongoing acts of brutality against the Palestinian people perpetrated by the israeli military. Both their Eminences stressed the imperative of putting an end to this conflict, urging the international community to shoulder the responsibility for halting the bloodshed in Palestine.
Regarding the bilateral ties between Iraq and Lebanon, Sayyid Al-Hakeem stressed the importance of bolstering collaboration across various domains.
Concerning the situation in Iraq, Sayyid Al-Hakeem stated the positive trajectory towards increased stability, contributing to advancements in reconstruction, development, and service delivery, thus requiring us to preserve, reinforce, and fortify this stability. His Eminence expressed optimism that the Iraqi provinces would witness substantial progress in development and services with the establishment of robust and cohesive provincial councils.
Furthermore, H.E. emphasized the importance of concluding the campaign of the international coalition and transitioning to a bilateral relationship to safeguard Iraq's interests. Terrorism has transformed into a limited security threat, no longer posing a military menace as it once did.
