Sayyid Al-Hakeem stresses ending war on Gaza, aids to enter urgently
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, received His Excellency Stephen Hickey, the British Ambassador to Baghdad on 8/11/2023, and discussed the political scene in Iraq and the region, and the inter-relationship between Baghdad and London, and stressed developing it to further serve the interests of the two countries.
His Eminence stated regarding the regional events, especially what’s taking place in the Gaza Strip, that the world needs to pressure toward the end of the war for aid and life necessities to enter Gaza. H.E. also called to abandon double standards in human rights, freedom of expression, and protecting civilians’ files.
Regarding Iraq, H.E. affirmed the importance of preserving stability in Iraq and transitioning it to permanent stability. H.E. further illustrated that events and experiences proved the need of the region for Iraq’s stability.
