Sayyid Al-Hakeem: The international community must end double standards with the Palestinian crisis
During His Eminence meeting with the leaders of Al-Hikma Movement in Baghdad on 27/10/2023, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, the head of Al-Hikma National Movement, commended their strong dedication and encouraged them to contribute more to their nation and their project. His Eminence also reiterated his support for the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people’s right to establish their state and secure their rights. H.E. placed responsibility on the international community to end the atrocities and safeguard innocent civilians from the brutal airstrikes on the sieged Gaza Strip.
H.E. also stressed the necessity of ending Double Standards in handling human rights and freedom of expression matters. H.E. stated that the international community must adopt a clear and defined position on these issues, which are continuously violated in Gaza and must avoid double standards when dealing with Humans. H.E. underlined the significance of achieving success for the moderate and centrist project, underscoring the interconnection between Iraq’s progress and the well-being of its citizens, as well as the promotion of moderation and centrism. Additionally, H.E. emphasized the importance of preserving the current stability and transforming this phase into permanent stability.
Moreover, H.E. called on organizational leaders to define their objectives, concentrate on attainable goals, and avoid internal conflicts, while highlighting the necessity of fostering positive internal competition for the benefit of their nation and their mission.
