Sayyid Al-Hakeem commends Arabs and Kurds’ cohesion within one country framework
At the guesthouse of Sheikh Azad Osman Pasha, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with a gathering of Kurdish brothers from the Khoshnaw tribe on 9/10/2023. H.E. reminisced about the long history of their relationship and the conversations and shared experiences that fathers and ancestors instilled in them, fostering a love for Kurdistan and the defense of its people. This necessitates the continuation and deepening of this relationship.
H.E. stressed that the achieved social cohesion between Arabs and Kurds would not have been possible without the common struggle and the shared vision for a democratic Iraq that everyone aspired to. H.E. pointed out that what we enjoy today is the result of those sacrifices and the steep prices paid in the fight against dictatorship and terrorism, stressing the importance of exchanging visits among social figures to deepen the social relationship and safeguard it from challenges.
