Sayyid Al-Hakeem: current stability is due to martyrs' blood, people's sacrifices, everyone is responsible for preserving it
As part of his visit to the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with His Excellency Mr. Masrour Barzani, the Prime Minister of the Region on 9/10/2023. The two sides exchanged views on the political developments in Iraq and the region, as well as the nature of the relationship between the federal government and the regional government.
His Eminence stressed the importance of adopting dialogue to resolve outstanding issues and the principle of rights and responsibilities in dealing with obligations, stressing that communication should not be limited to times of crisis.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem renewed his support for the government led by Mr. Al-Sudani, bearing in mind the responsibility of everyone to maintain political, social, economic, and security stability, pointing out that Iraqis have paid a price for this stability with their blood and sacrifices.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem also emphasized the need for Iraq to unite in all arenas and noted that Iraq plays an important role in bringing together the perspectives of regional parties, which requires maintaining domestic stability.
