Sayyid Al-Hakeem congratulates educational institute for gaining rank 37 in Times Higher Education
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, extended his congratulations to the educational community and students as they embark on the new school year, and expressed wishes for everyone's success, outstanding performance, and prosperity on 2/10/2023. His Eminence commended the University of Baghdad during his meeting with its President, Dr. Muneer Al-Saadi, for its achievement in securing the top position among Iraqi universities, and Iraq's ranking 37th in the ‘Times’ Higher Education World University Rankings that was published recently.
His Eminence affirmed the significance of strategic planning, clear vision, and ensuring alignment between university curricula and the evolving job market. H.E. advocated for the establishment of new departments and faculties that cater to contemporary demands, particularly in fields such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and other emerging sciences and challenges. Additionally, H.E. stressed the importance of universities actively participating in development and reconstruction efforts, highlighting the potential to leverage academic expertise in serving various provinces.
