Sayyid Al-Hakeem calls to promote dialogue culture, to integrate it into educational curricula

On the first anniversary of the passing of the late scholar, Sayyid Salih Al-Hakeem, known as the pioneer of humanitarian dialogue, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, renewed his congratulations on the occasion of the Prophet's Noble Birth. His Eminence also expressed condolences for the tragic incident in Al-Hamdaniya, stating that the Quran has emphasized dialogue through words, where words serve as a comprehensive expression of one's stance, actions, intentions, and objectives. Therefore, the word represented a significant project within the Islamic message.
H.E. affirmed that the late Sayyid Salih Al-Hakeem (may his soul rest in peace) launched a message in humanitarian dialogue, characterized by qualities rarely found in one person. H.E. was sincere in his devotion to Allah, relying on Him, humble, self-effacing, and unwavering in his focus on his mission. Furthermore, Sayyid Salih Al-Hakeem was known for his genuine openness to others, engaging in objective, persistent, and extensive dialogues. H.E. was sincere, conscious, and courageous in defending his opinions and beliefs while respecting the views of others.
H.E. stressed that dialogue is an Islamic approach, and the late scholar (RIP) paid the price for his moderate and open-minded approach. H.E. emphasized the importance of dialogue as a means of promoting peace and openness, preserving diversity, and perpetuating it. Additionally, dialogue fosters integration and cooperation with those who hold differing opinions.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem emphasized the nation's need for dialogue and called for promoting and incorporating a culture of dialogue into the curricula of schools, universities, and social institutions. H.E. pointed out that dialogue does not mean relinquishing one's principles but rather discovering the other and finding common ground. H.E. called for the acceptance of others and differences without monopolizing the truth.
H.E. also underscored the importance of mutual respect and fairness towards others and the significance of equal opportunities and social balance in dialogue.
H.E. called for the creation of an objective atmosphere and the cultivation of good intentions to reach the truth, emphasizing the importance of informed contentment rather than inherited authoritarian contentment without verification.
