Sayyid Al-Hakeem discusses upcoming dues with Al-Madani Alliance
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with a delegation from Al-Madani Alliance led by Mr. Mahmoud Al-Ogaily, the head of Al-Umma Party on 19/9/2023. His Eminence discussed the political developments in Iraq and the region and the bilateral relationship between Al-Madani Alliance and the National State Powers’ Alliance in light of the upcoming dues.
H.E. stressed the importance of strengthening state powers that are committed to the state's principles and its empowerment, as well as the significance of provincial councils and their elections as they represent a democratic and administrative obligation. These elections are the first to be held under a unified law alongside parliamentary elections. Furthermore, H.E. discussed the opportunities provided by the tripartite budget, which necessitates the presence of a capable provincial council to elect a competent governor.
