Sayyid Al-Hakeem calls to transform visitors to media platforms to share their views

Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met several Arab and foreign journalists and reporters who were invited to cover the Arba’een pilgrimage on 5/9/2023 and thanked them for accepting the invitation and spoke of the historical significance of this million-person pilgrimage and the challenge that Ahl Al-Bayt “PBUT” and their followers faced to maintain and consolidate them. H.E. illustrated that the Arba’een pilgrimage is a humanitarian message direct for the whole world, encompassing the values of justice, equality, renouncing oppression, tyranny, and dictatorship. In addition, generosity, sacrifice, selflessness, and sharing the most valuable with others.
H.E. stressed the importance of having every visitor become a media outlet to share his views on this religious journey. H.E. also illustrated that there is an intentional media blackout, even though it reached a staggering number of 10s of millions of followers from Iraq and several Arabic and Islamic countries, turning Karbala into a world city that holds more than 80 different nationalities from around the world.
H.E. illustrated that this religious journey and many other rituals, the supreme religious reference, and Iraqi clans have protected the Islamic religion and preserved it in Iraq. These rituals will remain one of the most important ways to immunize Islamic societies against ideologies and deviations that are being imposed under the title of freedom and democracy.
Political-wise, H.E. affirmed that the Arba’een alone and with this high heat wave, several roads, and million-strong visitors, is a testament to Iraq’s recovery, security, and stability. H.E. stated unequivocally that we reckon that more stable countries will be incapable of managing an event of this magnitude, despite occasional criticism and observations.
