Sayyid Al-Hakeem calls to strengthen Baghdad-Tokyo cooperation, activate Iraq’s production sectors
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement met His Excellency the Japanese Ambassador, Mr. Futoshi Matsumoto on 14/8/2023, and reiterated the affirmation that Iraq has overcome many challenges on political, security, and social levels and aspires for the continuation of the current stability to evolve into enduring stability, highlighting the significance of enhancing cooperation between Baghdad and Tokyo across various productive sectors such as agriculture, industry, tourism, investment, and technology, leveraging the expertise and experience they possess. Furthermore, His Eminence stressed Iraq's clear willingness to engage with all parties to safeguard its interests and sovereignty, while stressing that Iraq's stability is a fundamental requirement, as demonstrated by experience, for the stability of the region.
