Sayyid Al-Hakeem Discusses Strengthening Baghdad-Islamabad Relations Across All Fronts with minister of interior
On August 3, 2023, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, welcomed Pakistani Interior Minister, Mr. Rana Sanaullah Khan, and his accompanying delegation. The two sides exchanged viewpoints on enhancing the relationship between Baghdad and Islamabad in all fields. Sayyid Al-Hakeem highlighted that both countries have grappled with extremism and terrorism, emphasizing the need for coordinated efforts to combat terrorism in both thought and behavior.
His Eminence also referenced the historical Iraqi-Pakistani relationship and its achievements in military, armament, and war industries.
Regarding the Iraqi landscape, Sayyid Al-Hakeem explained that Iraq is experiencing an unparalleled level of security, political stability, and societal harmony, attributing this stability to the sacrifices made by the Iraqi people. H.E. also discussed the challenges Iraq faces after its victory over terrorism and moving towards building and construction, especially after approving the tri-budget. H.E. also expressed his support for utilizing Pakistani expertise in military manufacturing, agriculture, and industry, in line with the Iraqi government's direction.
