    Sayyid Al-Hakeem invites Korean companies to contribute to Iraq's rebuilding

    Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met a political and representative delegation from the Republic of South Korea, headed by Mr. Kim Ti, the head of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Korean Parliament. H.E. discussed with him the bilateral ties between Baghdad and Seoul, as well as issues of common interest. H.E. illustrated the size of challenges that Iraq faced throughout its long history, and how these challenges enabled it to steadfast and get back stronger than it was. H.E. expressed our encouragement for Korean companies to invest and participate in the rebuilding process, especially since the economic situation is witnessing progress after approving the three-year budget, in addition to the government’s will to implement its service and development program. H.E. lauded the Iraqi-Korean friendship and indicated the nature of youth society as they are the present and the future. Moreover, H.E. illustrated the nature of commonalities between the countries and the similar challenges that the two countries and peoples have witnessed. H.E. called to benefit from Seoul’s experience in rebuilding and construction.
