Sayyid Al-Hakeem calls to redress Turkmen component, preserve Kirkuk’s stability
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met the Chairman of the Turkmen Front, Mr. Hassan Turan on 26/7/2023, and called to do justice to the Turkmen component and to have its representation reflect the size and status of this component in Iraqi society as the third nationality in it. His Eminence also recalled the historical relationship shared with this generous component and the most important of those positions related to fighting the dictatorial regime and building a new democratic experience. H.E. stressed the stability of the city of Kirkuk and said that Kirkuk is a point of stability for the whole of Iraq and stressed the importance of the upcoming local elections to contribute to strengthening this stability. H.E. called for competition based on programs and service plans and the provision of job opportunities, and the importance that the provincial council elections remain an expression of its service essence. Moreover, H.E. urged the Turkmen component to unite and coordinate positions and review the past.
