Sayyid Al-Hakeem calls for sports sector’s development perpetuation, reviews Iraqi society’s youths statistics
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with the President of the Iraqi Football Association, Captain Adnan Darjal, on 19/7/2023, and called for perpetuating the development of football because of its impact on the Iraqi youth community, and blessed the recent results of various categories of national teams.
His Eminence stressed the development of the sports sector in general and review the official statistics of the Ministry of Planning, which shows the high percentage of youth in Iraqi society, indicating that sport is one of the entrances to immunizing Iraqi youth from deviations and extraneous ideas.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem also called for benefiting from the experiences of others in building national teams and organizing local tournaments, stressing the importance of hosting major tournaments in Iraq because of its positive impact on Iraq's reputation internationally and the level of stability in it, where H.E. cited the positive impact left by the Gulf Cup 25 at all levels.
H.E. stressed the interest in school sports and Iraqi talent schools, stressing cooperation and internal integration with branch federations, other sports institutions, and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
