Sayyid Al-Hakeem calls for upcoming elections’ active participation
From Al-Mahmoodiyah district, in the guest place of Hajj A’id Al-Kalabi, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met a gathering of sheiks and dignitaries of Al-Kalabi clan and sheiks and dignitaries of Al-Mahmoodiyah district, as well as several leaders of the educational sector of the Organization “Towards an Educated Iraq”, congratulating them on Eid Al-Ghadeer Al-Aghar. His Eminence lauded the history of the district and its people’s position in facing terrorism and building the new Iraqi experience, calling for active and conscious participation in the upcoming elections while referring to the size of sacrifices and blood, thanks to them and Allah for the current state of stability that we’re living now.
His Eminence called to pay attention to the district and reimburse its people for the suffering they lived in the past, stressing the importance of investing in the agricultural and industrial possibilities of the district.
H.E. stressed supporting the educational institution and building an educational system as a fundamental condition to start sustainable development, as well as stressing developing the four joints of education (Student, Teacher, Curriculum, and School). H.E. also called to legislate education service law to address the issues of the education system and insert rights into a legal framework, indicating the importance of protecting schools and teachers from social pressure in addition to moving toward an educational revolution.
H.E. affirmed the importance of the current stability, calling to transform it into sustainable stability, affirming that Iraq lives in a state of political, social, and security stability with the presence of State Running Coalition in the political scene, defeating terrorism, and the return of social harmony in addition to abandoning sectarian, national, and territorial sensitivities.
H.E. stated that the upcoming challenge is an economic one represented in diversifying income sources, affirming that electricity is a fundamental entry to develop any productive sector, indicating that the electricity sector has come a long way in production, and there are numerous imperative projects to provide gas and fuel that we look up to put an end to this long-suffering, we also stressed collecting fees as a main way to improve and sustain the service.
H.E. warned against intellectual deviations that aim to disrupt our societies, calling for an inclusive stance to confront drugs, and holding the educational institution responsible to fortify the new generations from these deviations.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem called for active and conscious participation in the upcoming elections, pointing out that the governorate council elections are important in terms of the need for a strong Governorate Council that produces a strong governor capable of investing the potential provided by the budget and the development of the regions. H.E. also urged everyone to obtain and update the biometric card as a prerequisite for participation in the elections.
