Sayyid Al-Hakeem to British Ambassador; Iraq’s security and stability impact world’s and region’s
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, discussed Bilateral ties, economic reform, Iraq’s status in the Arabic, regional, and international systems, and promising projects’ future in Iraq with the British Ambassador to Baghdad, His Excellency Mark Bryson on 26/6/2023, and lauded his excellency’s role in leading his country’s mission to Iraq and wished him the best of luck at the end of his mission in Iraq.
His Eminence affirmed the development of relations between Baghdad and Britain and illustrated that Iraq is at a stage of sustainable stability if everyone held their responsibility toward this transition, and reiterated that disruptions in Iraq disrupted the region and the world. Therefore, supporting Iraq and its stability will help to support the security and stability of the region and the world.
H.E. stated that the current government is keen on having a service and development change and quoted the government’s economic measures, including approving the state budget for three years as well as focusing the cabinet on stalled and strategic projects.
Regionally, H.E. stated that the policy of moderation and centrism is the perfect recipe for regional and world issues, indicating Iraq’s role in converging the factions in the region, not only the Iranian-Saudi convergence but going beyond that to eliminate the crises in the region.
