Sayyid Al-Hakeem lauds Damascus visit by several Speaker of Arabic Parliaments
At another station of His Eminence visit to Cairo, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Egypt, His Sovereignty Hasan Jebali in the Headquarters of the Egyptian House of Representatives. His Eminence reiterated with His Sovereignty the importance of the Iraqi-Egyptian relationship on all levels, and express support to document the representative relationship between the brotherly countries.
H.E. illustrated to His Sovereignty the important role of the Iraqi House of Representatives in consolidating the pillars of democracy and political life, as well as preserving the rights of the Iraqi citizen to exercise his political role in choosing his representatives in a way that lives up to his aspiration in legislating the laws that save citizen’s dignity and the sovereignty of the state.
Regionally, H.E. expressed welcoming the visit of several leaders of Arabic Parliaments to the Capital Damascus as a message of the importance of Syria returning to the Arab League and the positive results of this Parliamentary movement.
H.E. called to encourage popular democracy by supporting parliament and elites’ delegations between the Arab countries, in addition to expressing support to have a parliamentary movement a genuine part of solving differences measures and reinforcing the state of stability and dialogue in the area.
